Micropigmentation/Microblading is one of the most popular treatments in the beauty industry and has been for a long time. This treatment can be carried out with machine (micropigmentation) or a handheld manual tool (microblading)
Semi-permanent procedures are a cosmetic tattooing technique which deposits pigments into the dermal layer of the skin, it can be used to artificially enhance the brows shape and appearance.
This treatment can be particularly life changing in people who hair lost their eyebrow hair due to illness such as alopecia, chemotherapy or a genetic disturbance or simply for clients who want to minimise time spent enhancing their existing eyebrows with makeup.
Microblading creates beautiful natural looking hairstroke using a build-up of lots of fine strokes to mimic the brows hair structure microblading cuts into the skin and implants pigment into the cuts. Results can last 12-18 months
Micropigmentation we can create a shaded powder or ombre brow finishing with powdered makeup effect which also once heal looks very natural. It can also be used for hairstrokes but the purpose of this course we will be covering the ombre/powder technique. The machine can also be used in conjunction with the microblading to add shading and give a more 3-dimensional appearance to the eyebrow. Results can last 1-3 years.
- Result and pigmentation retention can vary due to lifestyle, following correct aftercare, skin type, environment and sun exposure
Brows are a two possibly three-part treatment and require a top up at 4-6 weeks.
After the first treatment the brows will scab, flake and peel and it’s likely the area will feel tender, but this will go away. Withing 4-6 weeks the brows will darken and lighten before revealing their final colour do not perform a top before the recommended time frame as the pigment needs time to settle into the skin. A top up is required to make any adjustments and strengthen the colour where needed. Everybody’s skin absorbs pigment differently and not everybody’s healed results will be the same.
